New High Damage Threshold, Low GVD Polarizers for Ultrafast Lasers Alpine Research Optics (ARO, Boulder, CO) offers a new series of thin film polarizers specifically intended for use with Ti:S ultrafast laser systems. These polarizers have been designed to deliver the optimum combination of high extinction ratio, broad spectral bandwidth, high laser damage resistance and minimal group velocity dispersion (GVD).
The standard product line includes two different polarizer configurations.
