Ian McNab elected IEEE Fellow The IEEE Board of Directors, at its meeting on 13 November 2005, elected Dr. Ian R. McNab an IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2006, with the following citation: "For contributions to the development of electromagnetic launchers."
Dr. McNab, who moved to the USA in 1975, is a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Texas, in Austin, Texas, where he is Director of the Electromagnetic Systems Division at the Institute for Advanced Technology.
