New femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser system with oscillator and DPSS pump The new Trestles system couples the Trestles Ti:sapphire oscillator and a compact diode pumped solid state (DPSS) pump laser for a very reasonable cost. The Trestles mode-locked femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser has been designed as an affordable and reliable device for ultrafast applications, or for seeding Ti:sapphire amplifier systems.
The coupled DPSS pump laser generates a near-diffraction limited, TEM00 mode, highly stable beam at 532nm, making it ideal for pumping the Trestles laser.
