Draft Environmental Impact Report Issued For Demolition of Bevatron at Berkeley Lab Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has issued a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed demolition of the decommissioned Bevatron accelerator and the structure housing it . The draft EIR will be circulated for a 47-day period, from Oct. 21 through Dec. 7, for review and comment by governmental agencies and the public. A public hearing to collect comments will be held on Nov. 16.
