Nano-Resolution Translation Stages Feature Record Travel Range The new P-628 series of piezo-driven nano-positioning stages from Physik Instrumente offer movements up to 950 microns whilst retaining a resolution of nanometres. The units are extremely compact and provide rapid movement with high guiding accuracy. The long travel range is achieved using a combination of a novel, friction-free, very stiff flexure system and the award winning ceramic-encapsulated PICMA multilayer piezo actuators.
