nLight Introduces High-Brightness, 975 nm Single-Emitter Diode Laser VANCOUVER, Wash., June 13, 2005 - nLight, the leading manufacturer of high-power semiconductor lasers, introduces a new diode laser that is rated to 5W continuous-wave (CW) at 975 nm from a single, 200-micron broad area emitter. Available in a C-mount or High Heat Load (HHL) package, this versatile, high-brightness, multimode diode laser is an ideal pump source for either Er/Yb doped fibers, Yb doped fiber lasers and amplifier modules or as heat source for medical and industrial applications.
