New 638nm Laser Diodes offer 40mW (abs.max.) Power in tiny 5.6mm Package Photonic Products are pleased to announce that, for the first time ever, a range of lead-free, visible wavelength laser diodes, rated to 50 degrees Centigrade, offers very high output powers of 40mW absolute maximum (DL-LS1148) or 25mW absolute maximum (DL-LS1164), in a tiny 5.6mm package. These very high output powers were previously available only in a 9mm package laser diode.
